Cherry Day and Jim Day enjoy the good fortune of being married to each other as they pursue independent careers as professional sculptors. Cherry, who specializes in figurative work, sculpts in clay and creates both limited-edition bronzes and one-of-a-kind fired-clay sculptures. Jim carves one-of-a-kind stylized and abstract sculptures from the stumps and roots of native Southern hardwood trees.

Though working in different media, the Days share the same artistic goal—to produce beautiful, flowing sculpture with uplifting themes that celebrate positive aspects of human experience. When not traveling to fine-art shows, they work full-time in their studios at their home near Whitehouse, Texas.
